Tim Evans has a varied professional background which includes serving several years as a minister in the United Methodist Church, working as a counselor and clinical supervisor at a family counseling center, then for a short term as the director of a foster care facility for neglected boys, and 18 years as the executive director for Manna Food Pantries and Gardens in Pensacola. Since 2011 Tim Evans has served as the Executive Director and CEO of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. He is a certified trip leader for Habitat Global Village work trips and serves on an advisory committee for the New Market Tax Credit program for Habitat for Humanity International. He has also been appointed by the Pensacola City Council to serve as a Commissioner on the Area Housing Commission, now serving a second term. Tim is married to Dr. Karen Evans, a member of the UWF faculty. They have two grown sons, the older currently pursuing post graduate studies in Ottawa, Ontario; and the younger living and working in Los Angeles. The family has lived in Pensacola for 30 years.
