Connected Communities - Spring 2017
In the Spring of 2017, the NR Department facilitated its first Resident Leadership Training series named “Connected Communities: Educated, Empower, Engage.” The six-month series offered a curriculum in how to advance change and impact communities. Attendees from neighborhoods in Escambia County convened to learn how to lead and influence needed changes in their communities while connecting, networking and learning best practices from other resident leaders. The second Connecting Communities series will be offered in Spring 2019.
