The exhibition and auction will be held at the ReStore, located at 6931 N 9th Ave. Exhibition dates will run from April 22nd through April 26th from 9 AM - 6 PM, with the benefit auction and reception to be held Friday evening, April 26th from 5 PM - 8 PM. Pensacola State College faculty, student artists, and local independent artists are invited to participate! A maximum of fifty PSC Visual Arts student entries and fifty independent artists will be accepted for consideration.
Artwork can be two or three dimensional to include multi-media on canvas, repurposed wood, sculpture, or any type of assemblage using materials found at the store such as tools, hardware, metal, wood, glass, lighting, ceramics, doors, windows or any general repurposed items that ignites the imagination of the artist.
Participating artists will visit the ReStore and select items that they can use to create a work of art. Each participating student artist will receive one $25 gift card to the ReStore for materials and supplies. Participating students will receive a $25 gift card to a local art supply store to assist in the purchase of non-repurposed materials and supplies. $25 art supply cards are limited to the first 50 student entrants.
Artwork must be comprised of 75% recycled/repurposed materials provided by the ReStore. Students must submit artwork to your instructor. Faculty jurors will select artwork for First ($250), Second ($150), and Third place ($100) prizes. In addition, ReStore visitors will vote on their favorite artwork to receive the People’s Choice Awards during the exhibition period.

This is a legally binding contract between the art student and Pensacola Habitat for Humanity ReStore. This contract allows the student to select items valued up to $25 from the Pensacola Habitat for Humanity ReStore to use to create original artwork to be donated to the Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. In addition, art students will have the opportunity to acquire select free items from the ReStore.
If the student does not return a piece of artwork created using the items acquired from the Pensacola Habitat ReStore by April 30, 2019, the artist agrees to return all items or pay for the items no later than May 10, 2019.
All donated artwork becomes the sole property of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. Artwork not purchased during the event may be featured at future auctions/sales determined by Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. Auction bidding and procedures will be set by Pensacola Habitat for Humanity.
Entrants hereby grant and convey unto Pensacola Habitat all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by Pensacola Habitat during the exhibit and auction, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.
