About this special homeownership opportunity

In partnership with the Home Builders Association and the City of Pensacola, Pensacola Habitat is offering three brand-new homes for sale to eligible buyers through a special, limited program. This program is separate from the Pensacola Habitat Homebuyer Program and, although the homes are located within the Community Land Trust, the application process is different from the CLT program.

Buyers for these homes are not required to complete "sweat equity" or other Homebuyer Program requirements, such as background checks. However, all homebuyers must attend an 8-hour Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Workshop.

As part of the application, buyers are required to provide proof of mortgage pre-qualification from an Approved Lender. View the list of approved lenders below on this page.

If you have already started a Homebuyer Program or Community Land Trust application, you cannot use the same account to apply for this Blueprint to Homeownership Program. You may either create a new account with a different email or call our office at 850-434-5456 to withdraw your existing application.

About the application process

Applications for these 3 homes will open on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Once the 30-day application period closes, one homebuyer will be randomly selected for each home, ensuring that all potential homebuyers have the opportunity to submit an application.

As part of the application, buyers must provide proof of home mortgage pre-qualification from an Approved Lender. View approved lenders on this page below. To increase chances of selection, applicants will receive one additional entry for every $10,000 of pre-approved mortgage amount.
