Lowe’s in Gulf Breeze Donates Over $120,000 Worth of New Product to Pensacola Habitat for Humanity
Pensacola, Fla.- Pensacola Habitat for Humanity ReStore received over $120,000 worth of brand-new items from Lowe’s in Gulf Breeze.
Lowe's is one of the largest home improvement retailers from appliances, building supplies, hardware, home décor, and much more. Lowe's in Gulf Breeze has been a continuous supporter of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity, and its supporters like this that fuel the Pensacola Habitat ReStore. This donation will not only supply the Pensacola ReStore, but the proceeds from selling these donations will support Pensacola Habitat's mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
"At Lowe’s, we have a list of sponsored donors that we can give to. However, when we give to Pensacola Habitat for Humanity, we know we're giving back to the local community. The money stays local, whether it's employing local people or helping people that are less fortunate. We're giving back to our people that are living together here," stated Karen Skipper, Gulf Breeze Lowe’s Store Manager.
Lowe’s donated a total of 12 truckloads and one flatbed load filled with products from the Lowe’s in Gulf Breeze. These items included outdoor furniture, tables, grills, wooden rockers, bistro sets, outdoor umbrellas, gazebos, and more! The total commercial retail value at Lowe’s pricing is over $120,000.

The Pensacola Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donations of new and like-new household furniture and building materials. All revenue earned is reinvested into the community to provide affordable homeownership options to individuals and families in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
