AmeriCorps
Gain skills, experience, and connections through a paid service year and help families and individuals build and improve places to call home.
Habitat AmeriCorps is part of the growing national service movement. AmeriCorps members serve in the field and in the office to build and repair homes, expand housing services, and engage the community. A service term with Habitat AmeriCorps provides hands-on nonprofit experience that allows members to learn and develop lifelong skills and confidence. Our AmeriCorps members serve a critical role in helping homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better future for themselves and their families. Learn what benefits are available through service with Habitat AmeriCorps, including a post-service award for student loans or educational expenses. You can also read stories of those whose lives were transformed through this unique and rewarding experience.
*As an additional benefit, AmeriCorps members serving at Pensacola Habitat are provided housing. Members are offered a room in a shared house with other AmeriCorps members. Housing is only for AmeriCorps members; we are unable to accommodate spouses, partners, relatives, dependents, etc.
